The beef industry is now realtime.

Record once. We handle the rest.

A drawn feedlot. At the crush a steer steps onto the scale and the reading settles at 489 kilograms. The phone at the crush shows the same reading and records it with one tap. The record rises to PaddockPath and lands on the animal’s record in the office, where its weight curve takes the new weigh and the weight prediction updates. 0467503481494486489

Beyond the feedlot

A feedlot is one stop on the way.

Six places on two roads, each lit in the colour of the product it runs on: a breeding farm and a backgrounding block on Farm, the owner’s office on Producer, two feedlots on Feedlot, and a processor. Trucks take the cattle from the breeding farm to the backgrounding block, into the first feedlot, and from the second feedlot to the processor, and records fly between the places through PaddockPath as they go: the move to the owner, the booking to the feedlot, the cattle’s history to the feedlot and what arrived back to the owner, a pen’s weights and the kill sheet to the owner, and the carcases back to the breeding farm.
