For vendors and cattle owners

Know how your cattle are going without ringing the feedlot.

A feedlot on PaddockPath can send you your cattle’s records as its crew makes them: each head through the crush, the invoice down to the lot, the trucks they’re booked on. There’s nothing to install and no account to make.

The day it arrives

Your truck is counted and weighed, and the report comes to you. What you consigned beside what came off, the weighbridge ticket and the NVD, signed for the feedlot.

Your invoice

See what each lot cost you, and what it gained. Cost of gain lot by lot, how each lot moved over the period and where the money went, at your prices, never the feedlot’s costs.

When they go

See which truck each steer is booked on, weeks before it leaves. Your contract’s bookings, the head promised and ready for each, and the animals named on them.

No account

Each link opens with a code from your email. No password and nothing to install. The feedlot chooses how long a link lasts and can take it back.

Ask your feedlot

If your feedlot isn’t on PaddockPath yet, send them this. Copy the note into a text or an email to whoever feeds your cattle.

Hi [name],

Could you look at PaddockPath for the feedlot? It would let you send us our cattle’s records as you make them: the crush runs live, the invoice down to each lot and the trucks they’re booked on.

We’d only need an email address to open them.

Already with a feedlot on PaddockPath? Ask them to share your next run. Your own cattle records are coming with PaddockPath Producer.

FAQ

Questions vendors ask

Do I need a PaddockPath account?

No. Each link opens with a one-time code sent to your email. While you watch a run at the crush, the link keeps you signed in for up to 12 hours.

What won’t I see?

The feedlot’s costs and margins, and the crew’s names and notes. A run’s link holds only the head it was sent with, and your invoice shows your prices only.

How long does a link last?

As long as the feedlot sets it: 7, 30 or 90 days, or a date it chooses. It can take a link back at any time.

Can my agent or accountant see it too?

Yes. The feedlot can send a link to up to 20 people, and each opens it with a code sent to their own email.

What does it cost me?

Nothing. The feedlot pays for PaddockPath; opening what it sends you is free.
