Feedlot · NFAS & audit

Your NFAS checklist, kept up to date by the work you already record.

Every item is in the auditor’s numbering. The ones your records answer fill themselves in, and anything that needs a document shows with its date, months before your audit window.

The auditor’s form

Of the auditor’s 132 items, PaddockPath answers 50 from the records you already keep, and holds 62 more as dated records with their files.

PaddockPath’s NFAS checklist, against the NFAS Rules and Standards, June 2025 edition.

The checklist

The checklist keeps itself up to date. Fifty of its items are answered by the work you already record, as you record it.

Dates

Every date shows up months before your audit window. An item turns Due ninety days out, and Before cluster if it would lapse before the window closes.

For the auditor

The Ready folder, put together for you. Download it from the audit pack and send it to your auditor: the pack first, then a folder for each item, in their numbering.

Audit day

The auditor asks, and the answer opens. Every dose since the audit names who gave it, checked against your authorised users on the day.

FAQ

Questions QA leads ask.

Is the checklist the auditor’s form?

Yes. It is the 132 items of the auditor’s form, in their numbering, against the June 2025 Rules and Standards that have applied since 1 January 2026.

Which items does PaddockPath answer on its own?

Fifty, from the records you already keep in it, such as treatments, dispatches and the morning round. Sixty-two are dated records you file once or when they come due, each with its file.

What does the auditor get?

The audit pack, a PDF in the auditor’s numbering with each item’s standing and what was sighted, and the evidence folder: the pack first, then a folder for each item that holds a file.

How do I know what’s coming up?

The checklist says it when you open it. An item turns Due ninety days before its date, and Before cluster when it would lapse before your audit window closes.

What about what the auditor sees on the day?

That stays the auditor’s. Sixteen items are observations on the site, and the pack lists them as observed on the day.
